Well, my fellow horror enthusiasts, even when you think you’ve seen it all, American Horror Story takes viewers on a wild roller coaster of shocking reveals and gut-wrenching mysteries week after week.
The latest episode, titled, “Preech,” is the closing to this two-part season, with Part 2 having a suspected release date in 2024.
Episode 5 takes us into uncharted waters with the AHS crew diverting from Danielle Valentine’s novel, leaving even the bookworms among us on the edge of our seats. Ms. Preecher, the enigmatic figure seen in past episodes, takes center stage this time with a long-awaited backstory finally revealed.

Journeying back to 1987, we get a tantalizing glimpse of Preecher at her best: as a young, aspiring designer, rubbing shoulders with bigwigs like Lagerfeld and Saint Laurent. Just as her life seems as its peak, an unexpected pregnancy threatens to end it all.
Enter: a mysterious woman bringing an offer of a sinister plan… A baby in exchange for everything Preecher could ever want.
We learn about the haunting guilt Preecher experiences after trading her baby for worldly desires. She achieves affluence with a successful bag design sold to none other than Marc Jacobs, but she’s heavily weighed down by remorse…

While Preecher’s past increasingly torments her with guilt, she’s forced into a protective, albeit cryptic, mode towards Anna. Speaking of Anna, her life’s throwing lemons at her faster than she can make lemonade. She deals with a bizarre pregnancy, worsened by Siobhan’s suspicious ‘B12’ vials.
Her Golden Globe aspirations? Dashed. Her trust in her husband? Shattered

The next scene, revealing Babette Eno’s sudden decapitation, suggests a dark bargain was struck. Pair this with Siobhan’s other shady dealings, and it’s clear she’s knee-deep in this season’s central conspiracy.
As Siobhan’s dalliance with dark forces becomes more apparent, her involvement with Anna’s success story now appears anything but benevolent.
