I’m Ally, the newest addition to The New Blaque, and I couldn’t be more excited to embark on this journey with you. You might be curious about who I am and what qualifies me to delve into these topics. Well, allow me to introduce myself. With a background in Behavioral Neuroscience, coupled with my firsthand experiences in the field of mental health, and currently pursuing further studies in mental health counseling, I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical insights to our discussions.Some of you may already be familiar with me from my mental health blog, @journeytoapositiveme. It’s a space where I share personal insights, reflections, and tips on mental health, personal growth, and self-love. Through authentic storytelling and moments of vulnerability, I offer a glimpse into my own journey and serve as a beacon of hope for those facing life’s challenges. But that’s not all I’m also certified in various disciplines, including DNA-based personal training, yoga instruction, and CBT life coaching, among others. These certifications complement my passion for holistic wellness and enable me to provide a well-rounded perspective on living a fulfilling and balanced life.
As we approach May, which marks Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m thrilled to announce that my first article will kick off a series focusing on the dimensions of wellness.
